What is it? Can someone explain to me what all those “hour rule” posts mean? Who makes the rule? Why an hour?

If no one makes a post after an hour anyone can put an hour rule post up to keep Oppo fresh.

Hour rule posts are due to a flaw in Kinja’s programming, where if a blog goes for longer than 90 minutes without an update it’ll shut down the blog. As a result, we try to post every hour in order to prevent the shutdown.
